Templeton Racing has just made the switch to the award-winning Prism platform for all their client communications and invoicing.
Their stables are based just a few minutes out of Moe on an impressive 25 acre property built solely for thoroughbreds. The husband and wife team of Paul & Tracey started training in the early 2000’s. Prior to that, Paul was a registered jockey since and was a frequent visitor to all the Gippsland tracks for in excess of 25 years and Tracey trained in her own right from the early 1990’s.
In recent times their son Dalton has joined the team as stable foreman to make it a real family affair. Since Dalton has come onboard in a full time capacity stable numbers have risen with the team currently having 30 horses in work including pre-trainers for some larger Melbourne stables.
The Templeton property has been upgraded recently with the addition of new training equipment which in turn has been pivotal in providing the perfect facility for their gallopers and pre-trainers.
A treadmill, walker, swimming pool, 800m sand track are some of the essential tools the Templeton’s use on a frequent basis to accommodate every individual's needs. Open stables allow all horses to overlook the entire property, day yards and day paddocks also allow horses to enjoy the country training regime.
The Templeton’s have acquired quality yearlings recently by actively buying at the Melbourne Premier sales and they will also be attending the Inglis Gold Yearling sale and Inglis Weanling sale in May.
