Rockhampton based trainer, Clinton Taylor, has recently joined the ever growing Prism stable to manage his owner communications and stable finances.
Taylor, the son of fellow trainer Garnett Taylor, was a former jockey before weight issues ended his riding career. He took up training on a full-time basis in 2018 and hasn't looked back!
Clinton's progression as a trainer over the last few seasons has quickly made him one of the up-and-coming horsemen to watch in the Sunshine State.
He has notched up 20+ winners each season – with a career best of 32 in 2020/21 – and is currently in the Top 10 of the Qld Trainers premiership with an impressive strike rate of 29%. Notable horses Taylor trains include the undefeated Chinny Boom, Boom Boom Becker and Zipping Irish to name a few.
Taylor has 25 horses in work at Rockhampton and dreams of training in the big smoke at Eagle Farm one day.
